We do accept personal checks for the reservation deposit. However, any amount remaining is to be paid on the day of arrival by Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Money Orders or Traveler's Checks. Cabin rentals are subject to 6% sales tax, 1% state room tax and 3% local room tax. A $10 key deposit will also be charged upon check-in and is refundable upon return of room keys.
Do you allow pets?
We have one unit that we allow pets in. The Ponderosa. There is a $100 per pet charge. We DO NOT allow pets in our cabins or houseboats. If a pet is found there will be a $100 per day charge for each pet.
Do you charge for extra people?
Yes, depending on the cabin, the units are rated for 4, 6, or 8 people. Additional persons 12 and older will incur a $10/day per person charge.
Do you have any efficiency units?
We have four lodge units, one two-bedroom unity with a kitchen and three one-bedroom units.
Do you have lakefront cabins, and secluded cabins?
Yes, some of our cabins are lake front and some are secluded. Check the CABINS page for cabin descriptions.
Do you provide a slip?
Yes, we provide one covered slip with each cabin you rent. Additional slips are $20.00/day extra and subject to availability.
Do you provide linens?
Yes, we provide all linens in the cabins and will provide clean bath towels daily. Additional bath towels may be obtained from the Resort Laundry room in exchange for guest's used towels. Please, however, provide your own beach towels.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms do the cabins have?
The 2-bedroom cabins have one bath. The 3-bedroom cabins have one or two baths, depending on the unit.
What days do your cabins rent on?
We have some cabins that rent from Mondays through Fridays, Saturdays through Tuesdays, and then on Thursdays through Sundays. Check the CABINS page for each cabin's scheduling. The schedules are in effect Memorial Day through Labor Day and are on flexible schedules during the off-season.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 60 days prior to your arrival date are entitled to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 60 days of your arrival date are not eligible for any refund of the deposit unless the reserved unit is re-rented for the entire reservation period, and at that time, a re-rental fee of $20 is subtracted from your refund.
When is the deposit due when you reserve a cabin?
7 days from the day you make your reservation.
